This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at the room are so small you cant move, the bathroom door opens onto the bed, when we arrived very late at night we were shown to our room , i thought it was a transit room, bottle tops on the floor amongst other things, let me put it another way i would not even take my shoes off it was filthy, asked for another room next morning, the food is the worst i have ever had, i lost 3lb in weight on this holiday which for me was unheard of as i usually put on a couple of pounds. The pool was so small, and not very clean , i passed on going in it,the staff are rude and uninterested in anyone or anything, the music from the hotel next door was so loud you couldnt sleep. an absolute nightmare dont go there , it is no way a 3/4 star in my opinion it does not deserve any stars

Comments:
Had a brilliant time, restaurant / bar staff were great, so friendly. Food was very good too, lots of choice. Pool was good, very clean. Not far from town, easy to get to on buses which run every few minutes and are very cheap. Hotel has own turkish bath which you have to make use of - wonderful experience. Rooms were very basic and quite small, but clean and all you do is go there to sleep!
Useful Tips:
there are a lot of steps, as the hotel is very spread out rather than one building, but not really a problem.

Comments:
The rooms are cramped and there is NO mini bar,let alone balcony for some rooms. The food is of extremely poor quality and cold! The inclusiveness is a lie get only soft drinks, beer,or lethal vodka. Dont drink the water, there are about 1000 steps to ur room. The pool has no measured chlorine just a couple of buckets thrown in people were coming out in rashes and blisters. Full of stray cats that hiss at you. There is NO entertainment in the hotel. PLEASE PLEASE DONT BOOK HERE!Go to a beach called Bitez beach fantastic!
Useful Tips:
Good beaches and read the reviews carefully excursions book outside the hotel in town they're half the price.

got what you paid for,Staff very friendly.Rooms cleaned daily, could of been a little more variety at breakfast and for drinks.dont let reviews put you off, people are just to picky.nightlife in gumbet excellent. The main problem with the hotel is lack of entertainment. There are also lots of steps so no good for elderly or people with pushchairs unless really fit.
Useful Tips:
lots of steps and lack of entertainment

Comments:
The hotel had all the amenities that as a couple we required from a holiday. The rooms where conpact, but clean and catered for all our basic requirements. The food was excellant for those who are neither fusy or expect English food when in Turkey. The fresh bread and varitey meant that we could always find something we really enjoyed from each buffet meal. The staff where friendly and helpfull at all times. The bar facilities where ok, and on most days we where able to get Pepsi to drink and good quality alcohol which you don't always get at all-inclusive hotels. The pool was just about big enough for the number of people staying in early June but not might be a litle crowded in high season. You have the option of the beach but we where just happy enough to lounge at the pool, relax with drinks etc on tap all day. For us at the price we paid for the holiday it was excellant and everything we expected.
Useful Tips:
The hotel is set on a hillside location which allows to be far enough from the centre of Gumbet to be quiet in the evening. Should you wish to get to Gumbet it was a 15 minute walk or a dolmus bus could be taken from the main road. A boat trip is an excellant way to see a bit more off the Bodrum area and can be easily booked in Gumbet town centre. If you can organise a bulk booking we should be able to negotiate a better price and always go for the all inclusive option as you will save a fortune on drinks. Turkey is an excellant country for families as the Turks love children and are generally very friendly. If you respect them and their country they will give you the exact back ten times over.
