Bodrum
Bodrum, Turkey

Description
  • Cosmopolitan Bodrum is ideal for a fun and sun holiday in every sense. Turkey's most sophisticated resort, it blends old and new beautifully, with gleaming whitewashed houses spilling down terraced hillsides to two bays, each filled with yachts and overlooked by an impressive 15th century castle. The winding streets are packed with restaurants, shops, street cafes and bazaars selling souvenirs, whilst the marina is a hive of activity. At sundown, Bodrum's legendary night-life takes over, with hundreds of bars, nightspots and a giant open-air disco buzzing till dawn. There's no beach here, but you can take a dolmus to nearby Gumbet with its shallow seas and watersports or head for other beaches on the surrounding coastline.
