I have travelled a great deal and the Azka Hotel is one of the most professional, no hassle, well run places to be at. Everything is smartly clean, Nothing is too much trouble and it has a truly 5 star air about it. Although at appears strictly classified as being in Gumbet it is NOT. This is important because Gumbet is Blackpool whereas the Azka Hotel has its own private beach and its own view over a distinctly different Bay from Gumbet Bay. Beautifully clean to swim in + there is a large pool Food was plentiful and varied throughout our 12 days there (July 18th to 30th 2009. A Very Laid Back Relaxing experience with a beautiful view. Cruise and other tour operators will pick you up from the hotel and there is a water taxi (as well as bus (Dolmus) to Bodrum 5 mins. trip.
Useful Tips:
Sit with your tour person and select some outings. Ours included a day round 5 islands - simple lunch on board and a stop to jump off and swin to cool down. Saturday visit Turgutreis for an amazimg market both in textils, handbags,wallets, ceramics and fresh food.
