- Upon arriving, the reception staff did not welcome us as expected but the reception area was very clean.The room we were given was not within my expectation for a three star hotel.The rooms are very lived in and require renovating.The air conditioning is very poor and needed a good clean.There was damp on the walls. The carpet had seen better days. However, the cleaners would give you plenty of clean towels and linen if you required it and were very cheerful.Despite the hotel having a no smoking policy, one of the cleaners would do her duties with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth-and I found one of her stubs outside on my balcony!The food was very good quality and a good varied selection of dishes on offer-breakfast even had cava laid out for those who wanted Bucks Fizz.My daughter especially liked the chef who would cook eggs, meat and fish on the grill for you-he was very friendly towards her. The pool was very adequate and was well manned by the guard.Entertainment entertaining!
- Useful Tips:
- Get a bus from the airport- the hotel is well situated in Salou and costs only 5.60 per person from the hotel. The bus routes take you to Port Aventura, Aquapolis, Cambrils, La Pineda and Barcelona. There are two beaches nearby, the one up the road is 5 min walk and small-lovely. The Spanish are very laid back!! This holiday was good value for money but go all inclusive as Salou prices are expensive-at least all your meals and drinks are included.

- Hi just got back from this hotel the entertainment has gone poor after being there b4, make sure u get a safe as our room got broken into.(by fire exit) if get givin any room with window in bathroom asked to be moved!!! salou a lovely place but gone very expensive be ready to pay 8.95euro for bucket and spade!! food very nice , but bed linin could of been changed more. Alot of foreiners not alot of english speaking staff. Brill holiday but wont be going to spain again also aqua park my 10 year old of 5 year old were to small to go any hardly any so waste of 90euro kids enjoyed beach better save ur money
