- On arrival in Salou we where dropped off outside an office for key collection, then a hike with 4 kids and luggage down the road and round the corner to the hotel. Corridors where filthy and dusty, swimming pool was closed and was tick green slime and thats not to mention the rooms.....hiked back to the office, complained and got moved into another arquus building, cleaner but still very basic, mouldy toilet seats, no air con, no kettle/ toaster. Swimming pool had no sun loungers, no lilos allowed and 50 euro fine for ball games! Sign outside says this is a residential building no noise after 11pm so is obviously not really used as a hotel anymore! Hotel round the corner lets u use their facilities which we did every day and night! Do not go there even if its cheap there is better hotels out there with better value for money!
