- Great place, plenty to do. Shame that the beach was rough on the feet. Would definitely visit again.

- Roxy's, Robin Hood Karaoke bar, and the take away next door who's name has slipped my mind.

- The beach was superb, the weather amazing and the local people were always friendly. Nightlife was good without being 'too much' and the selection of bars and clubs were tasteful and hastle free! We enjoyed ourselves a great deal and would recommend Lloret to anybody looking for a sun escape!

- The nice bars along the beach front and the walk up the hillside to the left of the beach (when facing the sea)

- The destination was easy to get to from Girona Airport and the flights which we booked through on the beach with Ryanair were inexpensive. This made it an affordable place to reach for families on a budget. Lloret de Mar is a lively resort with plenty to do but is particularly suited to young people with it's many bars and clubs. There are some lovely beaches around the area. Barcelona is within easy reach of LLoret de Mar and is well worth a visit. There are excursions which include visits to Camp Nou and the magic fountains or you can make your own way there on bus or train. All in all an affordable and accessible destination with a good selection of hotels to choose from.
- Useful Tips:
- You need to be wary if you are entering Lloret de Mar at night. It is very busy and full of young people getting drunk. Also if you go to Barcelona you need to be aware of pickpockets.

- we found lloret one of the best places we ever been, we had everything we were looking for: fun , lovely beach , very good weather, food , something for everyone. it was one of the best holiday we had.

- We went to this destination, as it had everything we were looking for-a beach, bars, restaurants and clubs..and an amazing water park! It was amazing. There was so much going on in terms of entertainment and eating places. The food was incredible no matter where we ate! Also, it was here where my now Husband proposed to me on the Pier, on the Beach, so I cant not love this destination!! It can be as busy or as quiet as you like! You can relax by day and party at night. But there are a mixutre of clubs and bars, some loud with music, others nice and quiet and some lovely romantic eating out places. The beach at night is beautiful, with gorgeous views. Go with the flow, and at your own pace, and you will love it-something for everyone, young or old!
- Useful Tips:
- Visit the American bar and grill (near the Queen Vic)located in the heart of Lloret de Mar. The food was amazing there and super cheap too. A full mixed platter grill for under 15 euros you cant beat! And make sure to visit the cocktail bar located right on the beach. The cocktails were a liitle pricey, but def worth it and they were HUUUGE! The chocco banana cocktail with baileys was amazing-not to be missed. The Evenings can be annoying sometimes as you have people trying to pull you into their club and sell you things etc so be aware of this, especially as we were pulled into a club and told it was free entrance with a free drink. But when we got in we had to pay 20 euros each entry fee and then were given a ticket for free entry on our next visit!! Very crafty, but the club was an experience and we did get our free drink too! Also the water park was a fab day out. Book it when you are there on your own accord, not with Travel Agent.It's much cheaper and only 10mins away on bus.

- it was exactly as described by on the beach there was plenty to do and fun for the whole family we stayed for 10 days and had a great time and were never short of things to do i am very pleased with the holiday it was a bargain at the price on the beach charged i would definately recommend them to family and friends and book with them again myself

- Lloret de Mar, during my children's childhood was their second home, they absolutely loved it and still do. Don't be put off by it's former bad reputation, yes like all resorts it can be noisy during high season like most destinations, therefore just go out of season during the autumn and winter months when the weather is still warm and very pleasant. There is a variety of entertainment on offer in the lively town centre but if you want peace and quiet there is the Fenals area and it's lovely beach just a bus ride away, or a 15-20 minute walk, although if your explorers and like to get off the beaten track, you may not want to go for a walk a few miles past the Fenals towards Blanes, where we unexppectantly came across a nudist beach, much to the amusement of the children! The bus routes are excellent and you can get to visit neighbouring resorts such as Tossa de Mar, where much of 'El Cid' was filmed or Blanes with it's beautiful tropical gardens.
- Useful Tips:
- Lloret de mar has a great casino opposite the bus station, and just behind the casino is the weekly market. Shopping for leather goods is a must, they are so well made even if they are not as cheap as they once were. When purchasing towels and supplies for the beach it's advisable to buy them away from the resort centre as the Fenals is possibly cheaper. The gorgeous old church in Lloret centre is definately worth a visit even if your not religious, and there is a camera shop next to it to buy and a tabacs to buy your stamps and tobacco, etc. There is a fantastic water park but is only open during high season and boat trips that leave the beach at regular intervals. The only down sides to Lloret is the traffic which can be a little hair raising at times especially if you have small children. It's also hilly in parts, so it's best to check if your hotel is in a flat location if you have walking difficulties. Other than that I can't fault Lloret de Mar.

- The resort itself was clean and tidy. The beach is clean but grainy not sand to build sand castles on. There is a McDonalds and a Burger King in the resort for the children to eat. It is busy place but there is no trouble at all. For a cheap beach holiday there is everything there that you would need or want. I'd go back as it's only 1 1/2 hr flight too!!!
- Useful Tips:
- There are some great bars and cafes alongside the beach set back by the gravel walk way. They all speak English and the cocktails are huge !!

- Absolutely loved it, went in June for s five day break with my husband (child Free) the hotel we stayed in was fine, All inclusive meals were excellent we couldn't fault it

- Me an my boyfriend went on a quick get away with OTB to lloret de mar. The all inclusive Htop hotel we stayed at was wicked and the all inclusive food exceeded all our expectations. The resort was lively and extremely hot ! we had a great time got sunburnt and had fun at the beach shopping and doing all standard holiday stuff!

- there is a fab mexican restaurant They should wear sun cream..
