Playaluna Hotel is an ideal destination for family vacations offering a great variety of activities for children and sport facilities, leisure and relaxation for adults. The hotel is situated at Playa Serena, in the Urbanization of Roquetas de Mar on the front line of the beach, close to the maritime avenue. Being a part of Playa Hotels, Playaluna allows you to experience additional facilities offered by other hotels located at a very close distance.

Accommodation

The 496 rooms (double rooms and apartments) of the Playaluna Hotel feature complete bathrooms with hairdryer, minibar (only in doubles), air conditioning/heating (in winter), TV with more than 15 channels, safety box (rented) and direct telephone. Each apartment consists of a living-room with a sofa-bed, one bedroom with two beds (1.05 x 2 m), equipped kitchenette, a fridge and a balcony or terrace. (Max. Occupancy of doubles: 2persons).

Food & Beverage

The buffets of the Playaluna Hotel restaurant offer a great variety of delicacies and show cooking (grill of meat, fish and vegetables, creperie). There are also the Bar Salon and the Beach Club with extra charge (according to season). Finally the Restaurant has a terrace and a non-smoking area and to top everything else, champagne is available during breakfast. Wearing long trousers is obligatory at dinner (from the age of 15).

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:30-16:00) and dinner (19:00-22:30), all buffet style with show-cooking, served in the main restaurant (non-smoking area available). During meals water, beer, wine, soft drinks, etc are offered. Snacks such as tapas, russian salad, sauce meat, cheese, etc are available from 11:00-13:00 at the pool bar. All alcoholic and soft drinks are served from 08:00-24:00 at selected bars.

Sports & Leisure

There are two swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor): a thematic swimming-pool with slides, fountains and Jacuzzis (sun beds & bathing towels gratis) and a climatic indoors pool (closed from 15/05 to 15/09). Other sports facilities include an 18-hole golf course (not belonging at the property of the hotel, prior to reservation and on payment) and table tennis. There is also a sport centre located 2 km away in a 13000 sq m area.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport Facilities at the hotel include table tennis, shuffle board, mini-golf, bochia, free use of pool sunbeds (according to availability), outdoor themed swimming pool in design of a river with water slides, whirlpool and separate water slides area, a large panoramic swimming pool with whirlpool and sunbathing area with palm trees as well as an indoor pool (closed from 01/06 to 15/09). Also included is daily & nightly entertainment programme, a large games area offering bowls, gigantic chess, shuffle board, mini-golf, archery and rifle shooting, a gymnasium and use of the reading room.

Chargeable Extras

Mini-bar, safety deposit boxes, telephone calls, parking, special drinks like cava, vintage wine, champagne, etc and bicycles rental are not included in the AI concept. In Playasol hotel (150m from Playaluna) you can enjoy Acquaplaya health and beauty centre with treatment area and hydroludical area at a charge.

Facilities & Services

There is a reception desk, garage space available for rent, a beach club, games area, diurnal and night animation for both adults and children, free baby coats and rented child chairs are available with previous request. Finally there are two special areas for children: The Mini-Club Delfin Playa (open from 01/06 to 30/9) where children from four years old can spend their energy in various activities and games. For young people from 12 – 17 years old there is also a variety of sports and leisure. There is also the Delfin Playa Mini Hotel, 300 metres away in the Hotel Playasol, where children can enjoy a world in their size under the supervision of specialized personnel (payment directly to the hotel).

The Hotel is situated 37 kilometres away from the Almeria airport, 195 km from Granada airport, 4 kilometres from the fishing port, 400 metres from the Golf course, just 50 metres from the nearest beach and 4,5 km from the centre of Roquetas de Mar.
