The Playadulce Hotel is part of the Playa Hotels chain. It is conveniently located directly at the sea-front along the promenade of Aguadulce, only 50m from the beach and 200m from the resort centre. There is a bus-stop right in front of the hotel. The airport of Almeria is 21 km away, The airport of Granada 193 km and the sport harbour is only 2 km away.

Accommodation

Each one of the 237 spacious rooms of the Playadulce features a complete bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning & heating and also a remote-controlled ceiling-fan. They all have a direct telephone line, a television with more than 20 channels and a safe-deposit box (the latter available on payment). Furthermore, the double rooms have a minibar and balcony.

Food & Beverage

The restaurant of the hotel offers Spanish champagne at breakfast and buffets with a large variety of dishes and show-cooking (Grills with meat, fish, vegetables, and crepes). Of course, there is a non-smoking area. During the winter season you can have breakfast from eight o’clock until ten o’clock and lunch from 13:30 until three o’clock in the afternoon; during the summertime these durations are extended by half an hour. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:30 in the winter and from 18:00 until 22:30 in the summer. Access to the restaurant is limited only by your board option. The saloon bar is open all year long from nine o’clock am to one o’clock in the morning. The pub Old Pression opens at six o’clock pm. In the summer season the beach club “El Torito” operates between eleven o’clock in the morning and six o’clock in the evening. Please note that wearing long trousers at dinner is obligatory.

All inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:30-16:00) and dinner (19:00-22:30), all buffet style with show cooking, served in the Andalucía restaurant. During meals water, soft drinks, beer and table wine are offered. Snacks such as tapas, Russian salad, sauce meat, cheese, etc are served between 11:00 & 13:00. Alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 08:00-24:00 (depending on bar opening hours) at the bar saloon, the pub Old Pression and the snack bar El Torito (open in peak season).

Sports & Leisure

The hotel provides facilities for mini-golf and table tennis, as well as a Game Hall. For swimming, there is the grant outdoor swimming-pool, thematic with toboggans, fountains and Jacuzzis and the heated indoor swimming-pool (open from 15th October to 15th May). Bathing towels and sunbeds are offered gratis and solarium service is also made available at a fee. The water sports in front of the hotel are one of the provisions of the Playadulce that you must absolutely participate in. Additionally evening entertainment is presented on a terrace, specifically built and retained for this purpose.

Sport facilities at the hotel include table tennis, shuffle board, mini-golf, boccia, free use of pool sun-beds (subject to availability), an outdoor themed pool with water slide and whirlpool, children’s pool, an indoor pool and sauna (closed from 01/06 to 15/09).

Mini-bar, safety deposit boxes, telephone calls, parking and drinks like reserves, cava and champagne are available at a charge.

Facilities & Services

The hotel encompasses a Congress Centre which includes 6 conference rooms with a capacity of 90 to 500 people. Playadulce also has an indoor parking area, a hair salon, a playing area, a newspaper and souvenir shop. The Mini-Club Delfín Playa provides a world with measures for the most special customers of the hotel, the children. It is a world where children of 4 years and older can spend all their energy. It is open every day from 01 June to 30th September, including holidays. It offers you plays and all kind of activities, a free cap in the entrance, a picture book with colour sticks and also the Mini Club Card. Additionally for young people between 12 and 17 years old it offers a lot of sport games and leisure.
