- A great place to go Portugees friendly people and the beaches are so clean with life guards there for your safety. Weather was in the middle 20's at this time of year. I would recomend Albuferia to anyone as they do cater for all peoples.Albuferia is changing everytime we go the steets are cleaned every day and no rubbish left around. They could do more for children although they do have splash & slid, Zoo and water park but no arcades as in this country but they try to cater for children who you can take into bars which some do have game machines for them
- Useful Tips:
- The old churches the lovely flowers that they grow that are all along the streets. The Old Town is now prodestrinised so no worry for parents with children If you can get a trip to Lisbon you have to cross over the longest bridge in Europe. There is alway something with trips going to take you to different places. Villamora and the marina with all kinds of boats there, golf courses for the more active. Cliff walking the Algarve shopping for the shopaholic with around 70 shops off all kinds

- This is the perfect place for an out of season holiday. The weather is perfect, the beach and surrounding beaches are out of this world. Whilst I would not like to go here in the height of the season. Out of season it is just perfect and like paradise.
- Useful Tips:
- The other beaches, The Dockside Restaurant great for coffee and brandy with a gorgeous view. The farthest beach cafe on Praia Du Vou excellent for passing an hour or so watching beatiful waves crashing to the sea shore.

- Very relaxing and welcoming area of the algarve, Lots for families and couples of all ages.From the lively pubs and clubs to the golden sand beaches. good quality food at reasonable prices with a variety of activities i.e dolphin watching to water parks and zoo's.
- Useful Tips:
- Avoid the beggers and gypsy sellers around old town area definately hire a car to get around and search the internet for the best deals £80 for the week ! $10 to town from hotel in taxi but car makes travelling alot easier

- albufeira is a lovely place old town was my favourite have spent some money on area around beach putting in escalators and beach bars and toilets
- Useful Tips:
- portugal is generally hilly so you find yourself going up and down between hotel and beach, but there is a noddy train that goes between.

- I love the Algarve and have stayed in Vale De Parra 5 times now, it has the best beaches, the locals are friendly, the surrounding areas are lovely, the restaurants are lovely too. I will be going again, and again and again for my anual holidays.
- Useful Tips:
- If staying in Vale De Parra you should definitly try Casa De Carne restaurnat, and the Cabinitas bar. If you have a family try the Zoomarine great place for kids with added relaxation for the adults. Algarve shopping for all you need from high end clothes boutiques and general supermarkets. You must check out a few of the beaches, Gale, Castelo etc all very beautiful.
On the beach staff was very helpfull, booked last minute.

- Destination was great, just what we wanted a last minute break away, food was good in the hotel staff were freindly and good with the children, Beaches was a bit of a walk but we like to walk so that was not a problem.

- not suitable for someone that does not like a walk.

- It was the most beautiful and friendly place it made me feel so relaxed the minute wee arrived
- Useful Tips:
- try the local dishes, speak to the locals they can tell you loads about the shops and bars.

- Fantastic destination. Superb food, fantastic clean, golden beaches, friendly people, marvelous water parks. Have been coming here for the past 9 years normally twice a year - been in Feb, March, April, October and November but June has been the best so far. Lovely to see the streets so busy with families promenading in the evenings, interesting street entertainers and nik nak stalls. Also the cost of living definitely giving a better deal than previously. A euro a pint can't be bad!Wish I was there now. Night life can go on as late as you want with plenty of lively bars for partiers. Good local bus service to lovely fishing village of Alvor (also home of the Irish Bar!) and Portimao which is great for upmarket shopping - especially shoes. Although there is a euro shop - the equivilant of our pound shop!
- Useful Tips:
- Slide and splash a must for kids, zoo worth a visit and jeep safari an exciting but bumpy ride
