- Marrakech is a city full of mystery, fun and colours. There is lots to do: Sightseeing - The square, the souks, the mosque, the gardents, Atlas Mtns, Fantasia, Hammans Shopping - Vey cheap but be prepared to haggle, shopping there is hard work! People - Very friendly, if you show them respect they will be nice. BUT have your wits about you as there are dishonest people in Marrakech just like in any city Food - You are spoilt for choice. There are chaeper restaurants to the more cosmopolitan and up class places. Try 'Katsura', a Thai restaurant that is very cheap but of extremely high standard Weather - We went at the end of September. It was very warm, from 25-32 degress Tips - Ask before you take pics as some people harass you to pay them for taking a picture in which they are

- Shopkeepers may try to rip you off, always pay 1/2 of the asking price and nothing more.

- Agadir is sold by tourist as the best beach in Morroco. Now I don't know if this is true but Agadir as a destination is pretty awful. It does have a nice beach and some of the big hotels do look impressive but the place is just one big building site. Apparently there was an earth quake here in the 80's that flattened the place so they are obvioulsy under going massive redevelopement. We went with my 3 year old and really wanted to discover Morroco but we might as well have gone to Tenerife. We wanted to get away for New Year for some sun and relaxing some where cheap. Agadir was NOT cheap. I would say eating and drinking was as expensive if not more expensive than home. The weather wasn't great either - jackets and jeans must. Agadir is pretty dull - even New Year wasn't much happenening. Morroco as a country was great, lovely people, great place, but Agidir? Rather Aga'don't!

- The hotel was very nice. Good location and friendly environment. Nice restaurants inside hotel. It was great holiday overall.

- Ask advice when visiting a particular tourist attraction or choose to eat out.

- Eating out is really cheap, I went in the winter and the weather was good the weather will be amazing in the summer so they will be able to enjoy the amazing beaches too cold in the winter. Go to the markets and enjoy the night life.
