Landscape
There are no sandy beaches in St Julians and most of its shoreline is rocky, although there are plenty of smooth, flat rocks on which you can sunbathe or you can use one of the many lidos found along its coastline. One of the best of these is the Reef Club, which is an exclusive beach club on the waterfront where you can take part in a variety of watersports as well as it having a great pool. Swimming, scuba diving and snorkelling off the rocks are all very popular but there are some deep pockets of water so you need to take care.

Culture vultures should head out to the capital, Valletta which is close by and if you like your shopping to be on a grander scale, head to Sliema which is only a short distance from St Julians too.
