Nearby Mellieha boasts the largest sandy beach on the island so if you like to visit different beaches but want to be based in a peaceful resort, Paradise Bay is your best bet. The ferry to Gozo also leaves from here at Cirkewwa and that's well worth a day trip.

Most of Paradise Bay's nightlife is centred on the hotels' own entertainment although there are a couple of attractive bars and restaurants to enjoy. There is more choice in Mellieha but the focus of Paradise Bay holidays tends to be more about rest and relaxation. Landscape
Paradise Bay's small sandy beach is reached from the clifftop by descending a steep set of steps and its waters are quite deep which means it's not quite as suitable for younger children or weaker swimmers as its more family friendly neighbour Mellieha. Nevertheless, its clear blue waters make it highly appealing to holidaymakers.
