Weather

Malta's temperatures remain very stable with hot, dry summers, warm and sometimes wet autumns and a relatively short, cool winter. Its annual average temperature throughout the year is a warm 18° Celsius, and even in winter, it rarely falls below 10° Celsius. At the height of the summer when Malta holidays are most popular, however, you can expect temperatures to reach 30° Celsius or more- perfect for working up a healthy tan!

Attractions

No holiday to Malta would be complete without a visit to its capital, Valletta. Here, you'll find magnificent cathedrals, ancient fortifications, museums, historic churches and some of the finest restaurants on the island as well as plenty of shopping. It's also well worth a ferry or catamaran trip to go and visit its neighbouring islands of Gozo and Comino and you can even take in several Italian ports and visit the island of Sicily on a day trip.

Younger members of the family can go wild at 'Splash and Fun'. With its water slides and dinosaur park, this is a great day out for all the family on holidays to Malta. And, for the experience of a lifetime, why not swim with the dolphins at the Mediterraneo Marine Park?
