The hotel offers a heated fresh-water outdoor swimming pool and separate children’s pool surrounded by beautiful sub-tropical gardens. Other facilities include a gymnasium, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and sauna. There is a elegant cocktail bar with live music for pre-dinner drinks and restaurant that serves international cuisine as well as refined dishes of the region. The day starts with a delicious buffet breakfast on the “Governor’s Terrace”.

The Hotel Quinta Bela Sao Tiago was renovated in 2004 and is located in the heart of Funchal’s old town with easy access to the city centre, set in extensive private grounds the hotel was originally built in 1894 as a residence for an important Madeiran family and has since been carefully remodelled to maintain its architectural splendour and offers guests the highest comforts with superb views over the magnificent harbour and Ocean. The hotel is situated approximately 100 metres from the beach and 1 km from the resort centre which offers a multitude of shopping facilities, bars and restaurants.
