The Madeira Regency Palace boasts 115 rooms and 95 suites, each one exquisitely furnished with traditional custom-made furniture and fabrics. In-room facilities include marble bathrooms with bath, shower, hairdryer, and razor plug (220v), 24hr room service, digital safety deposit box, mini bar, air conditioning, direct dial telephones with voice mail, 24 channel cable TV, in-house movie service, video messaging, and BOSCH equipped kitchenettes in all superior rooms, suites and senior suites. Two suites are fully equipped for disabled guests and non smoking rooms are available on request.

Food & Beverage

Sao Lourenco Restaurant serves the best of Portuguese cuisine with flavours from the Mediterranean and also featuring theme nights which can range from its own Madeiran Shores to the exotic Far East. Terrantez Bar offers fine wine, a colourful cocktail or just a refreshing beer with live entertainment every night. Primavera Tea-Lounge provides classic English afternoon tea with authentic finger sandwiches, a selection of homemade cakes and traditional English scones. Ilheus bar is situated around the main swimming pool, where guests can choose from a selection of fresh meats or fish, grilled to order and complimented with their choice from the buffet. Mango bar, located in the Mango health club. Classic Car bar, with its fabulous “exclusive classic car collection”, where guests can enjoy a good Madeira wine. Yacht Bar Praia, the beach bar facing the sea on the seaside promenade.

Sports & Leisure

In addition to the beautifully appointed rooms and public areas, the Madeira Regency Palace offers a wide range of quality facilities. The Mango health club is fully equipped with spa facilities, fitness programmes, indoor pool with hydro-gym programme, jacuzzi, jet shower massage (payable locally) and sauna (payable locally) and turkish bath (payable locally). Squash court (payable locally), tennis court (payable locally), a couple of large outdoor swimming pools (one heated and with underwater surround sound music) on different levels with a waterfall connection and separate children’s pool, lawn bowling green (unique on the island, payable locally) and a 30% discount on green fees at Santo da Serra Golf Club for all guests (transport available). There is also a small children’s play area (unsupervised). The hotel also boasts an unusual bar on the lower floor which is home to the hotel owners’ impressive private classic car collection. Meeting Facilities

The Madeira Regency Palace offers comprehensive Conference and Banqueting facilities with several venues depending on the occasion and your needs. Private functions can be held in either of the conference rooms, in the restaurant (private area), in the Classic Car Museum or at the Pool Bar. The two principle function rooms are Pico Ruivo and Cabo Girao and there are also several breakout rooms available for up to 15 persons.
