Weather
The island of Kos offers a beautiful climate, and is a comfortable average of 25° Celsius year round. If you are visiting in the summer months, be sure to bring plenty of cool clothing and sun cream, as the temperature will often reach a toasty 30° Celsius on the beach. As you can imagine, you'll be coming home with a fantastic tan even if you are only going for a week.

Aside from a few hotels, restaurants, and tavernas, Psalidi has little more to offer than its beautiful shoreline. But just a short bicycle ride away in the capital, Kos Town, there are more than enough activities to keep even the most restless enthralled.
For you scholarly types, there are a number of museums in Kos Town including the Hippocratic Museum, dedicated to the father of modern medicine, as well as an ancient temple of Apollo nearby. Also of interest are the many castles and ruins you can tour including the Castle of the Knights, which is fronted by the Plane Tree, under which Hippocrates is said to have taught his students.
For the more adventurous souls, Psalidi offers a plethora of watersports that one can enjoy with the entire family including scuba diving, windsurfing, and even a local water park in nearby Kos Town. Or, if the beach isn’t your style, the hotels in Kos offer luxurious swimming pools, many complete with swim-up style bars. You can even hire a bicycle for the day, and explore much of the island at your own leisurely pace.
Nightlife
There are a few taverns and restaurants in Psalidi where one can enjoy a quiet drink after a long day of relaxation by the shore, but the real party is just a kilometre away in Kardamena.
