Comments:
kardenmena is a great place and i would definitely go back again, in fact already thinking of going back next year, the people are really friendly, the beach was great, in fact i can t praise the place high enough.
Useful Tips:
as with all greek places there are a lot of stray cats and kittens, which really upsets me, if only they would sort it out, i hate to see the poor mites, if i could afford it i would move over there and adopt the lot of them, and give them all the food that they need.

Comments:
One of the most beautiful places I have been to, lovely beach, friendly locals, and enough night life to keep me happy all week. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. We stayed in Kipriotis Village, and the accomodation was very nice. I loved the beach bar there, perfect for a little respite from the sun. The weather was fabulous throughout our holiday, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would love to return.
Useful Tips:
If you stay at Kipriotis Village look out for the Olympic sized swimmong pool away from the family pools, fabulous for a morning swim.

Whitsun half term, two 11 year old boys and two slightly older Mums headed off to Kardamena for an All Inclusive break (leaving the Dads to play golf in old Blighty). Hotel fine and food and beverages fab and all a short stroll from the beach and town. Activities galore from go-karting with a mountainous back drop to a boat trip to idealic locations around the coast. From touchdown to departure a truely memorable experience Mums returning relaxed and tanned and boys exhausted and very happy. Thank you On the Beach
Useful Tips:
Be prepared to explore and you will be so surprised what you can find. Beach bars and secluded bays a vast selection of trips and all reasonably priced. Hire a bike and ride along the coastal path or just stroll into town for great shopping. We took full advantage of the All Inclusive Menu but also ventured out for treats to beautiful restaurants and bars. Children will not be bored - they had fantastic days by the pool and also enjoyed evening entertainment. Go with an open mind and enjoy

Kos is such a beautiful Island it was the first time in ten years since we last took a holiday and was not disappointed with the Island or the locals. They were very friendly and loved children. My daughter enjoyed making the most out of the 2 swimming pools and we also enjoyed eating at the pool bar where great traditional Greek food was made. The Greek night was spectacular and the views from the mountain breathtaking. The evening's entertainment, food and wine were all plentiful. The archaeological heritage of Kos Town with its attractive churches and many monuments and ruins was a favourite place of ours to visit. We chose a quite resort and was not disapointed. It is a place where I will go back and visit again most definitely.
Useful Tips:
The roads around the Island of Kos are not very well lit up at night and it would be sensible to carry a torch with you if you are heading out for the night.

A great place to visit, very pretty and lots of things to do and see. Views across the islands make beautiful photographs, with superb sunsets a must-see! Local facilities are good, with enough to do to keep you occupied for a few days. The area is not particularly busy, making it nice for families to visit. Lots of places to eat - some more expensive than others, be careful! - but most with lovely views of the sea. Beaches are clean and well kept, perfect for families with young children. Some hotels have man-made beaches which are not as nice, but a trip to the "real beaches" are definitely recommended. The sea is pleasant for swimming and paddling, calm in most places. The weather in August was fabulous, plenty of sun cream needed! Overall a definite "yes" for this destination - we would go back.
Useful Tips:
Make sure you take a trip to the nearby port and harbour at Kos Town, a pretty place to visit for a nice day out, strolling around in the sun or going out on a boat ride. There are lots of lovely market stalls and shops with all the usual touristy things available, and the architecture is stunning, with ruins dotted around. Going further afield, the island of Kos is beautiful and deserves exploring. Organised trips are available, but more daring visitors may enjoy hiring a car, grabbing a map and hitting the road! Local people are very friendly and willing to point you in the right direction if you steer off the right track. The scenery is breathtaking, beaches gorgeous and architecture incredible. When will you go?

We found Psalidi to be quiet with great places to eat. If we fancied a bit of night life it was a 5 minute (if that) bus ride up the road to Kos Town where there was a lot of choices of restaurants and bars. In the day it was a great place to wander around and see the ancient sites or do a bit of shopping, that is if you could tear yourself away from lounging by the pool on a sun bed.
Useful Tips:
Lovely places to eat on the beach. Great local food and the fire water! Fun family days out to the water park. Romantic evenings watching the sunset from a bar up in the mountains at Zia. Genuinely fantastic local folk.

Great - small island so you can rent a quad or a bike and go end to end in a few hours - lots of historic things to see - not very touristy in that regard - people are friendly and weather is good - at night Kos Town and Kardemena turn into a clubbing madhouse... quite fun if youre into that - good value for money and a varied mix of things to do for the young and young at heart... dont insult the locals though - I saw someone do that and it wasnt pretty.
Useful Tips:
Try to stay anywhere but Kos Town - the town is too crowded and detracts from the beauty of the island - everywhere is very accessible and everyone is friendly - big crickets are everywhere and the lizards that feed off them are never far behind - its alright in the towns but once you go into the country you'll need to sling a manly arm around the girlfriend and try not to get too freaked out yourself! Bars are great - dont stop at one - make sure you keep moving as they all have a theme...
