- Malia is such a fun place to go on your holiday. Its full of great bars and night clubs and also has a lovely beach. If you want to party and have a great time I would recomend going here.
- Useful Tips:
- there is nothing really to look out for apart from you normal party holidays such as pick pockets etc

- Would not recommend this for couples or families.. i like going out clubbing with my boyfriend but this place didnt have any great nightlife what wasnt packed with gangs and we always felt uneasy. nearby wasnt great either. this is an 18-30s resort so if thats what you are looking for then i think you'll enjoy it - there was lots of trouble there however when we were there so i would avoid!

- After visiting for two years running, i can confidently say Malia is a 100% cert for having a gr8 holiday if your young single and a party animal.......
- Useful Tips:
- Check out the footy 5-a-side tournament and the go karting....

- This destination is great if you are young and looking to have a good time. It has an amazing nightlife, where there is something for everyone. The beautiful sandy beaches are a plus. If your of a more mature age i would say don't stay in the heart of malia, maybe stay in one of the next towns, because it can get a bit manic, all the youngsters running around screaming but definetly take a day trip into malia because it is a lovely place and the next town is literally just down the road. When i went we had the best of both worlds, we stayed in the heart of malia and because i'm young i totally enjoyed the nightlife, but then we booked a few excursions which was great and went up into the mountains to get a real feel of cretan hospitality. The native's are really lovely people and they have lots to say about cretan life. Malia is an amazing place if your looking for sand, sea and sun, but crete itself is absolutely beautiful where ever you stay there is something for everyone.
- Useful Tips:
- I'd just say be careful of the police they are like tyrants we were safe but alot of our male friends got into alot of trouble, the police don't really care out there, if your too drunk and disordally they will lock you up for the night and the fee's you have to pay after are horrendous but don't be too put off by what i am saying they do allow you to have a good time and take full advantage of the cheap drinks but since alot of holiday makers have been going over there in recent years with bad intentions to make trouble, they have become alot stricter on people and make sure that people stay in line, but this does not stop people's fun at all. This is just a heads up so your not shocked when you see them man-handle certain individuals.

- Fab beach, clean resort, nice stretch of bars, some really good restaurants. But if you want a party holiday probably not the best resort unless you like the peace and quiet during the day and then short cab to the neighbouring resorts.
- Useful Tips:
- Trip to Knossos fantastic, great beach walk. The amazing calorie free pastry shop.

- It was absolutely amazing and everything was so cheap. best time to go is end of june begining of july for both great weather and lots of fun and good looking young people the ugly ppl come after lol! A must visit for all young ravers!
- Useful Tips:
- Get a hotel near the strip but book early and in big groups for the cheapest deals i recommend groups of 8!

- Brilliant place to go if your young free and single, plenty of good bars and clubs, best holiday destination in Europe for the party scene!.
- Useful Tips:
- Look out for drinks deals, bars will go out of there way to get you in, play them off against each other for some fantastic deals, especially if there is a big group of you.
