We booked this hotel through On The Beach Holidays, and on arrival were delighted to find we had been allocated an upgraded room with a huge sunbathing terrace and a sea view!!! This was made as a request through On The Beach Holidays so Thank you to them. We stayed for 4 nights on a B & B basis. The hotel is typically Greek, fairly basic but with all the essentials, tv, aircon etc... The room was thouroughly cleaned on a daily basis. The location is excellent, right on the sea front. There are 2 beaches virtually outside the hotel. The hotel has it's own restuarant where breakfast can be taken. The food served was of a typically greek breakfast, with fresh bread , cerials, yoghurts. We did not take evening meal at the restaurant as there were many others of excellent quality close by. All in all an excellent stay and I would not hestitate to return. The resort is quite busy with coach parties during the day but becomes very peaceful in the evening.
Useful Tips:
The resort is quite small with a number of shops and supermarkets, with several close by. There are restaurants around the bay very close to the hotel. Nightlife is fairly low key , but if your idea of a good night is a nice meal with a few relaxing drinks then Paleokastritsa may well be for you. There is a bus stop 20 meters from hotel which takes you into Corfu Town from where you can connect with other buses for an inexpensive day out.
