- I have seen the other 2 reviews on this site and believe that these people are not talking about the same apartments............... the main give away being that they describe having to buy drinks for around the pool at the sons bar. Well, there is no son or bar for him to get you to buy the drinks from. The Marilena Apartments are on the main road into Paleo opposite the Oasis Taverna. We found it great.

- Me and my husband have been to Kavos before where we stayed a little out of the town centre and we decided to come back and stay at the Marilena complex which was right near the beach and bars etc.... On our arrival at1 o clock in the morning the place was in darkness and we had to walk about aimlessly trying to find the owner.. eventually by chance someone helped us and we had to knock on the owners door where she came out and said number 3... that is all she said... I questioned her as to where our key was and she told us number 3... we eventually discovered our key in the door to appartment 3... The linen did not get changed at all in our 10 night stay and the towels were charged at 2 euro 50 cent if we wanted to change them, the owner stated we had to pay as towels were only provided once and if we wanted clean ones we pay! When sitting by the pool in the day we we made to buy drinks and were told if we didnt we would have to leave even though we were paying for a room. Not good
- Useful Tips:
- There are no pavements in Kavos and you have to walk in the road.. when you have been out on the town be cautious walking back to your hotel as you risk being run over by motorists.. and moped riders!!

- situated central just out of the way of the noise,but not cleaned often and make sure you take bath towles as none are supplied,the owners were lovely but the son bully's you into buying drinks fron his pool side bar if you use it even if you are staying at the hotel

- cheap bars at 1.50 euro marias famous bar brilliant nights
