- Pictureseque, but quite quiet, if you want a relaxing holiday in nice surroundings. Not great beaches but good transport links to other resorts

- KAVOS has been taken over by young teenagers who only want to drink the time away, also beach was nasty, empty bottels & condoms scattered along the dirty beach, we booked scuba diving at Aspiotis Tours in kavos, on the day & time arranged they decided to cancel at the last minute due to only partner & myself going, we arranged alot around that trip & wasted time & money due to their utter contempt.
- Useful Tips:
- Being ripped off by the bars espesially, the "famous karioke bar" which charged double what they should have, also Aspiotis tours cancelling tours at the last minute making us lose time & money. good thing about Kavos was hiring a scooter "rates are very good 15 euro a day or 40 for 3 days" & getting out off Kavos for a day or two,good restaurant is the Rose Tree in Kavos family run, very friendly & welcoming, our morning giggle was watching the walking wounded teenagers coming & going from the local surgery.
Kassiopi.....One of the best resorts/islands in Greece

- After visiting Greece 8 times to various islands & parts of the Mainland, I think there have been 2 places that stand out to me. Kassiopi in Corfu & Hanioti in Halkidiki. Kassiopi is a laid back resort, which can be quite quiet out of season. I visited in July 2008 & October 2008 and both times were relaxed. Kassiopi was extremely beautiful & well maintained, & a wonderful harbour & lots of nice restaurants & bars. I am a really fussy eater but did not have a bad meal once! It is a great resort to be in for access to other parts of the island & I got round most of it when i was there. Driving in Corfu is suprisingly easy, even though it is very moutainous. I stayed in Bella Vista Apartments, which has amzing views across mountains & fabulous sunsets, yet was only about a 3 minute walk to the main village square. The beaches are white pebbles & are breathaking. Corfu is one of the best islands in Greece. Once you go, you will return again and again. It truly is the Emerald island!
- Useful Tips:
- A resturant in the village square. I can't remember its name, but it had vines all over the roof and is owned by an english lady, who is married to a greek man. Every single thing you order in this retuarant will not disapoint you! Make sure you take a trip to Corfu town, the most amazing capital that i have ever visited in Greece. The architecture, the castle/fort, the shops and restaurants, even the cricket players playing on the massive green to the side of the town. Paleocastritsa is also a must. Drive there in about half hour and be prepared for the most beautiful mountains and beaches, your likely to ever see.

- the destination was perfect it was quite and very peacefull. we were spolit for things to do. so many water sports and shopping to do. hiring a car is a great idea allows you to explore the area so many breath taking sites to see. the people are so friendly and happy to have you in their country which was very nice. you will have a great time for sure.

- take some sort of bite spray or cream, you will be bitten for sure.

- Corfu town is a lovely place to stay, very diverse with a little bit of something for everyone, with it's narrow winding streets full of shops selling everything from leather goods to alcohol, and the small cafe's to the more expensive restaurants meeting everyone's dining requirements at a reasonable cost. There is plenty to keep the history buffs happy with castles and forts to visit, there's also a lovely park area in which to while away your time in the sun. We really enjoyed our visit to Corfu and also meeting the lovely people who live on Corfu, we would recommend the island to anyone wanting a nice relaxing holiday or even an action packed one if wanted.

- A must try is the local drink called cumquat sweet and tasty

- Lovely people, great town. Fab catering for families, couples and young singles. Cheap to visit and fantastic for any traveller. Comes highly recommended.
- Useful Tips:
- Pirates bar. Family friendly and a great karaoke bar on an evening!! The roda beach mitsis hotel is fabulous.

- It is a great place to go on a holiday and its not too hot but quite.When my family and i went there it was great.We nearly were not going there but my kids begged to go.I went with my friend,her husband and their kids.It didnt rain once,but it raining quite a bit then.We are going every year fom now on. We were very tanned when we got back.The beach is a great place to go when its hot.There is to swimming pool in ermones,1 inside and one out.They have got a gym its great with no teachers if you wanted.ITS A GREAT PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
