Great resort, lovely beach, everything within easy walking distance. Still has that 'greekness', rather than that cosmopolitan feel that a lot of holiday resorts in Greece have. There is a wonderful array of good quality restaurants and coffee bars, a Giros bar, a Kafenion and a good selection of good quality supermarkets. Even tho the exchange rate for GBP is not brilliant we found this resort good value for money. There are a few large hotels along the beach but it is very much a low key resort, although there is a waterpark nearby (we didnt visit)- more for couples I feel. I dont think there are any nightclubs. We had a wonderful holiday there in 2008, our first visit back to Corfu in 15 years. We enjoyed this resort so much that we are going back during 2009.
