- I always have good things to say about Corfu. Its picturesque views, friendly people, good food, and great company. I have travelled to Sidari now for over 10 years, and have yet to be disappointed. The flight is short and you can usually be guaranteed gorgeous sunshine- Who could want for more?! I stay about half a mile from Sidari town centre, but even the walk in to town is pleasant. There is lots to do, and most importantly....It makes you forget about everything else. I love Corfu, its a beautiful Island. xXx

- Pictureseque, but quite quiet, if you want a relaxing holiday in nice surroundings. Not great beaches but good transport links to other resorts

- Having not visited any Greek islands previously, I didn't really know what to expect from my first trip to Corfu. All in all I really I enjoyed the holiday, the people of Greece are genuinly very friendly and welcoming, and this was a big positive for this holiday. There was a lot of beautiful, traditional Greek scenery which I would definatly spend more time enjoying if I were to visit again. There are some amazing restaurants, and I have to say I'm a novice Greek food fan - stuffed vine leaves, olives, and feta cheese! Yum! The weather was pretty good, we had a couple of cloudy days, and the rest of the time brilliant sunshine, enough for me to come back with a nice tan at the very least! I went at the start of season, so in all honesty the cloudy days were to be expected! A beautiful island all in all.
- Useful Tips:
- One of the only things I found dissapointing when visiting Corfu, were some of the beaches, and this is definatly worth researching or travelling further around the island for. The beach near my hotel was very small, quite rocky, and a little bit grubby. However just a ten minute buggy ride (definatly would recommend hiring these - they are a LOT of fun) I found picturesque beaches with crystal clear water and no crowds.

- great destination, really flat, not hilly so fine with anyone with walking difficulties. Quiet or bit lively depending on what you want.
- Useful Tips:
- In sept take mosquito spray as they are dying out and love to bite. Get on a green bus and explore other towns.

- Perfect destination for all ages and genders, mixed groups or singles. Plenty to do without the noise and congestion of a young lively resort. Lovely beach and the locals are nothing but helpful and friendly. Lots of bars and restaurants along with gorgeous sea front hotels make it the perfect relaxation centre too.

- a few hilly walks or uneven ground, nothing too major though. An all round great holiday!

- We stayed in Acharavi (north of corfu). We really loved the scenery on the way from the airport to Acharavi. Corfu is surprisingly green and the views from the mountain roads are spectacular.Wish we'd had more time to sight see - will definitely go back. Been to several of the greek islands as well as the mainland and this one ranks highly.

- KAVOS has been taken over by young teenagers who only want to drink the time away, also beach was nasty, empty bottels & condoms scattered along the dirty beach, we booked scuba diving at Aspiotis Tours in kavos, on the day & time arranged they decided to cancel at the last minute due to only partner & myself going, we arranged alot around that trip & wasted time & money due to their utter contempt.
- Useful Tips:
- Being ripped off by the bars espesially, the "famous karioke bar" which charged double what they should have, also Aspiotis tours cancelling tours at the last minute making us lose time & money. good thing about Kavos was hiring a scooter "rates are very good 15 euro a day or 40 for 3 days" & getting out off Kavos for a day or two,good restaurant is the Rose Tree in Kavos family run, very friendly & welcoming, our morning giggle was watching the walking wounded teenagers coming & going from the local surgery.

- Why on earth are all the airlines flying to Corfu in September 2009 flying out late at night and returning very early in the morning , why cant they get things right! rubish rubbish rubish!!!!!!!!!!

- people walking round in a daze because they had to fly throgh the middle of the night!
