- Egypt was an unexpected surprise as the Hotel was great considering the amount of poverty in the country and the staff at the hotel were amazing and could not do enough for you. The entertainment team especially were absolutely fab and we spent alot of time interacting with them, getting to know their ways, religion, hobbies etc..
- Useful Tips:
- Always bring english currency over to Egypt as you will probably get a better rate of exchange and you can use english currency to buy items anyhow.

- We had been to egypt previously so we were used to the local customs and the way of life. the weather is always hot we have been in may june and november before but prefer going in the early spring or winter as the heat is more comfortable.The staff in the hotels are always friendly and helpfull although outside the hotel complex you can get pestered to buy things from the locals who are if nothing persistant. we both love egypt and would recommend it to anyone.Their hotels are so luxurious and clean and the food is tasty and varied, breakfasts are always good with a choice of freshly cooked pancakes and omelettes as well as plenty of fresh fruit.
- Useful Tips:
- Watch the sun its so strong so slap on plenty of suncream ! There are always a lot of police around local and tourist which may be a bit daunting to see at first, but they are there to look after us and may search your bags at security points at the entrance to hotels etc.
