We feature two of the six hotel units of this complex. The Domina Coral Bay Oasis Hotel provides accommodation on the upper level of the Resort, offering a magnificent view over the whole bay. The Domina Acquamarine Pool Hotel provides the accommodation on a higher part of the Resort, around the swimming pool with a magnificent view over than bay.

Accommodation

Spacious and comfortable with balcony or terrace, all have a sofa/extra bed and baby cot upon request. Acquamarine Pool has 160 rooms which enjoy pool or sea view, while the majority of the 451 Oasis rooms enjoy an exceptional view overlooking the sea and Tiran Island. All rooms have adjustable air-conditioning/heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer and bathroom with shower. The Acquamarine Pool rooms additionally have mineral water upon arrival, and bathrobe. Guests staying in the Oasis rooms and the Aquamarine Pool rooms may use safety deposit box which is available at the reception. There are non-smoking rooms available in both hotels upon request. Due to the size of the resort transportation within the resort is by Taftaf.

Please note that family rooms are available in Oasis Hotel and consist of one bedroom with a king size bed & one living room with two sofa beds. There is, however, the possibility for two bedrooms when the reservation includes two connecting rooms.

Food & Beverage

With the motto “variety is the spice of life” in mind, ten main outlets dispersed around the million square meters resort, four A la Carte restaurants: Plaisir Restaurant (accurate service with Mediterranean haute cuisine, accompanied by a variety of imported wines, spirits and cigars: breakfast and dinner, vegetarian menu, oil and vinegar menu, dietary infusion selection). La Piazzetta Restaurant (Italian lunch & dinner). Nautilus Restaurants (on the beach, lunch and dinner, sophisticated Italian dishes). Petru’s Grill (original grill steak house, live cooking, cheese bar, Italian wines, dinner only). Four buffet restaurants: Sultan Restaurant (on the pool, buffet meals & daily variations and themes, for dinner). Wadi Restaurant (on the beach, buffet breakfast and dinner). Al Mastaba Egyptian Restaurant (dinner with set menu). Coral Restaurants (buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, international and themed cuisine including drinks: draft wine beer and soft drinks). With the same thought in mind, you can choose from eleven diverse snack bars, bars and lounges. Beach Bar (snack bar on the beach, grilled specialties, salads, fresh juices, ice-cream). Ali Ba-Bar (on the beach with snacks, drinks, pizza and other). Mosaique Bar (snack bar/gelateria/piano-bar). Red Sea Bar (snack bar/internet café with billiard tables, open 24 hours).. Calabash Lounge ( music lounge, cocktail bar from 16:00 till 02.00 am). Pool 55 Bar (pool bar, cocktails & fresh juices & snacks). Blue Lake Bar (snack bar on the salt lake, fresh salads, freshly baked sandwiches). Smaila’s Club (cocktail bar, shows twice per week with various artists and live music) , Bahia (cocktail bar, on the sea side, ideal for special events, gala dinners and weddings). Do not miss the “aperitif time” at the sunset, unforgettable moments, indeed. Finally, Energy Corner (healthy outlet on the pools freshly squeezed juices of fruits and veggies, from morning till sunset). Please note that Oasis guests can access only the main restaurant (Coral Restaurant) for free. Oasis Meal Plan consists of breakfast (served until 10:30), and for half board (dinner, including drinks : draft beer, wine and soft drinks ) at Coral Restaurant, while Aquamarine Meal Plan consists of meals at Coral Restaurant international buffet, Al Mastaba Kebab House Egyptian food (dinner, open buffet excluding drinks). Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to change one restaurant with an equal quoted restaurant.

Sports & Leisure

The hotel has in front of it 1.6 km of private beach & coral reef, protected by the Natural Marine Park of Ras Mohamed. Also six temperature controlled swimming pools, three separate pools for children and two floating swimming pools with sea water. There are three floodlit tennis courts with availability, private lessons upon request and with charge (tennis courts and equipment are rented). Mountain bike can be rented (weekly and daily). Cycling guided tours are organized daily by the animation staff. Every day the animation team proposes a wide range of leisure, sport and recreational activities: beach volley, mini soccer, beach soccer, tennis table, water polo, cards and table games and billiard. The Aladin Casino provides a pleasant atmosphere both for amateurs and professional gamblers (slot machines, gambling tables; free admission). The Elisir Beauty Farm is the most exclusive beauty farm in Egypt. It is equipped with Turkish bath, open air gym, overlooking the sea, health & beauty area and thermal baths and diving centre. Equipment shop with sportswear, video library, first aid kit. Private jetty. Mini Club provide daily entertainment and assistance for Children 4 to 12 years old. The soon to be operational Kids Oasis will help young guest of 2 to 12 years old to have a most enjoyable stay. The resort offers creche, cot, high chairs (for children) and 24hour babysitting service is available upon request. Special events include weekly Gala Dinner Show (Cocktail, Gala Buffet and Musical). Other animations activities include bingo and lottery, piano bar and live music, musicals, animation shows and parties. Please note that guests who have booked the Oasis Hotel or the Aquamarine cannot access the Prestige swimming pool or the Salt Lake. Oasis guests can use the main swimming pool and the floating pool and Aquamarine guests can use two swimming pools (the main pool and the Aquamarine pool) and the floating pool.

Meeting Facilities

The Congress Palace of the Domina Coral Bay Resort & Casino provides ideal meeting and conference facilities, in addition to a wide selection of coffee breaks, gala dinners and themed parties. Staff is available to assist with state-of-the-art audio/video technology, expert translation and other necessary services. Facilities include projector and sound device, a fixed stage with maxi screen, two internet connections, video camera, satellite teleconference service, movable chairs with flap-table, soundproof sliding walls, UPS & emergency generator. The highly professional staff is dedicated exclusively to the organization of special banquets and receptions assist & support Meeting Planers for the preparation and the whole event. Note that Domina Coral Bay is specialized in hosting and organizing several sport and modelling events.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.

Disabled Friendly Facilities

Disabled facilities include shower seats, toilet raisers and grab rails. Doors are 95cm wide and there is good access throughout the hotel and the surrounding area. Please contact our sales support department for details of how to book a disabled room at this hotel.

Please Note

Please note that the resort is being upgraded at miscellaneous parts such as the disco, the shopping area, restaurants, etc. Works will last till December 2009. The construction works are only in a specific area which is covered. The rest of the resort is fully operational despite the upgrading activity. Guests should note that as of 15/06/2008 the tennis courts will remain closed due to maintenance works until further notice.
