Browns Hotel is housed in a classical Georgian Building. The hotel does not have lifts, so guests will need to use the stairs to access the guestrooms. The hotel is situated on Gardiner Street which runs parallel to O'Connell Street. It is close to the former Central Model Schools and to Marlborough Square, O'Connell Street is 5 minute walk from the hotel and the Temple Bar area is roughly 15 minutes walk away. The airport is 9 kilometres from the hotel and the taxi fare is approximately 20 to 25 Euro.

There are 25 guest rooms, most are doubles/twins, basic furnishings but all offer an automatic wake up call, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and television.
