Hotel Arena is situated next to the Oosterpark, near the Artis Zoo and teh Ethnographical Museum. It is easily reached by public transport. The historical building in which Arena Hotel is accommodated dates from 1890. Monumental staircases, long corridors with high ceilings and original murals give the historical complex it's unique atmosphere. Located close to Amsterdam's famous zoo, this hotel is approx 20 minutes walk or only a short tram ride away from Central Station and close to all the main attractions of this city. The bedrooms vary in size but all are medium and quite basic although unique in style with drop down silver lighting. They are in fair condition, as are the bathrooms.
