A family-owned boutique styled property, nestled in the hills of Trinidad's beautiful Maraval valley. The hotel's design has a distinct Spanish influence, with interior décor reflecting the island's unique and diverse culture. Within the property, is a secluded tropical pool terrace, as well as fully air-conditioned meeting space, with multi-configuration capability. The hotel offers secured parking for up to 75 vehicles. The newly renovated hotel has been designed along Mediterranean lines by local architect Bernard McKay . The overall feel of the property also incorporates the ideas/input of Artist Harry Bryden and Landscape artist Ruth Hale. Great care has been taken to create an open tropical get away where guests can experience the infamous hospitality that Trinidadians are known for. An Events team can assist you with planning, preparing and executing of breakfast Meetings, Luncheons, Dinner Parties, Workshops, Conferences, Tea Parties, Public Forums, Fund-raisers, Charity Functions, Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays... ||In the outer enclosure it will be able to find a swimming pool with tropical terrace. Located on Saddle Road, the Chaconia Hotel is less than 15 minutes from downtown Port of Spain and 20 minutes to Maracas Beach along the scenic North Coast Road.| There are 23 rooms offering a choice of queen bed, two full beds or a king bed. One room with one queen bed adjoins another room with a queen bed or another room with two full beds. All rooms are non-smoking, however we permit smokers to indulge outdoors. Rollaway beds and cribs are available at a nominal cost.
