Located on the northern coast of Jamaica in Trelawny, the Grand Lido Braco resort is a magical replica of an old-fashioned Jamaican village, welcoming the guests with gingerbread architecture, a town square, skilled craftsmen and coconut vendors selling their treasures on the cobble-stoned streets. The old-world setting has been wedded to today’s luxury amenities to create the world’s first super-inclusive Jamaican village.

Accommodation

The resort comprises 226 rooms and suites in 14 separated structures. All rooms feature either a beachfront or garden view, plus a patio or balcony, and are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, direct dial telephone, CD player, hair dryer, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, mini-bar, coffee making facilities and safe deposit box.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-11:30), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (18:30-21:30), all served at the Victoria Market. Breakfast & lunch are buffet style; dinner is A la Carte (Continental cuisine, Wed & Fri closed). During meals wine is offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests are four more restaurants; Piacere (French, nouvelle cuisine, upon reservation, 18:30-21:30, closed on Mon, Wed & Fri, jackets required), Munahana (Japanese, teppanyaki style and sushi bar, prior reservation, Mon & Fri closed), La PastaItalian bistro (casual, 12:00-23:00, pizza, pasta and Italian dishes), Nanny’s Jerk Pit (Jamaican cuisine, casual, 12:00-16:00). Snacks are available 24hrs from the extensive room service menu. Locally & international produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, wine, cocktails, whiskey, brandy, mineral water, juices, coffee, etc are served at the eight hotel bars (the clubhouse bars are open 24hrs a day).

Please note that some renovations are taking place at the guest bathrooms till the beginning of November 2008. Works are ongoing seven days a week for 10 hours a day. No heavy equipment is used, except of some drills in the rooms on the clothing side of the resort. Works are taking place inside the rooms and block by block, and therefore noise level is minimal. There is no disruption of resort actives, pools or public areas.
