Grand Lido Negril is the most luxurious, super inclusive spa resort ever created. The spirit of this world-acclaimed resort begins with the lofty marble entrance hall and the gracious welcome of the friendly team members and continues to the luxurious suites on 22 acres of tropical gardens and the impressive stretch of Negril’s breathtaking miles of silver sand on Jamaica’s southwest shore. The resort welcomes singles, couples and families, 16 years old and plus.

Accommodation

The resort comprises 210 suites, all featuring spectacular beachfront, ocean or garden views and a small balcony or patio. All suites are equipped with a large bedroom, sunken living room, air conditioning, satellite television, direct dial telephone, CD player, coffee maker, hairdryer, safe deposit box and mini-bar.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:30), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (18:30-22:00). Breakfast & lunch are served buffet style in the Gran Terrazza restaurant (casual). Dinner can be taken at the Café Lido (Continental cuisine, Mon & Fri closed, semi formal). During meals wine is offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests are the specialty restaurants; Piacere (French, nouvelle cuisine, upon reservation, 18:30-21:30, closed on Fri, jackets required), Scotch Bonnet (Jamaican cuisine, rusting setting, 18:30-22:00, closed on Mon & Fri, casual dress), Munasan (Japanese, teppanyaki style and sushi). The La Pasta casual Italian bistro is open from 15:00-22:00 offering pizza, pasta and Italian dishes – without reservation. Light meals & snacks such as jerk chicken, Jamaican patties, lamb chops, burgers, etc are available from the extensive room service menu (24hours), the Timber club house (24hours, casual), the Stone house (12:00-24:00) and the Beach house (12:00-24:00). Locally & international produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, wine, cocktails, whiskey, brandy, mineral water, juices, coffee, etc are served from 10:00-02:00 at the nine hotel bars. The general manager’s gala takes place on Fridays in the Gran Terrazza and features a wide range of local & international cuisine (commences at 19:00, formal dress code).

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include tennis, beach volleyball, power walks, aquacise, aerobics, windsurfing, sunfish sailing, kayaks, snorkeling, glass bottom boat rides, water skiing (instruction included), two swimming pools, five jacuzzis, fitness centre, steam room, sauna, cold water plunge pool, reggae & soca dance classes, mixology lessons and video theatre (open 24hrs/day). Daytime/indoor activities offer taboo games, laser karaoke, fashion shows, body sculpting, beach Olympics, cooking demos, crazy pool games, backgammon, cards, dominoes, pool tables, table tennis, several board games and a lot more. Entertainment includes band performs with Jamaican entertainers and cabaret artists, live piano music from 18:00-02:00 at the piano lounge, the Atlantis disco (from 22:30) and theme parties (subject to change).

The facilities and services include choice of pillows (at a charge), complimentary laundry and dry cleaning service, valet service, iron and ironing board, wireless connection available in the lobby area, business centre and pool area (at a charge) and exclusive, boutique gift and duty free shops. Conference facilities are also available upon request. It can accommodate 200 persons (classroom style) with audio-visual equipment (available upon request). Private receptions and banquets can be arranged for a reasonable fee.
