Montego Bay and Ocho Rias are definately the places to go for clubbing. Both are alive with excitement, Negril a little quiter but still very enjoyable. (The locals are a little less in your face) Try inland for a fabulous time, stop and chat to anyone, all are genuine to a fault.
Useful Tips:
Try a ride in a local taxi or bus, (not charter). This will give you a talking point for many years to come.

Comments:
I cannot fault this destintation. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was consistently great (and very varied), the accomodation was clean, spacious and modern, and the beach was beautiful. There is entertainment, which is family centred and fun, and activities such as kayaking, diving and jet-skiing too. Above all, the atmosphere is really happy and relaxed. It would be perfectly possible to remain within the hotel grounds for the entire holiday, but it is also easy to go out on organised trips too. We had an unforgettable family holiday there, in fact we all agree that it was our best holiday ever.
Useful Tips:
The beautiful beach, warm, clean sea, the happy, friendly staff and above all the wonderful jamaican style of fun and relaxation.

It was Paradise, from the minute we landed i could tell i was going to love it. The beautiful beaches and the clear blue water along with the brilliant blue sky and the mountains, it was everything i was hoping it would be for a dream holiday in the Caribbean. The people went out of their way to be friendly, we went on various day trips through our travel agent and every guide or bus driver was as helpful and informative as the other, they are very proud of their island and want you to know all the history and things of interest and each of them tell you about it with enthusiasm. We didn't have one bad experience the whole trip it was amazing.
Useful Tips:
Definitely don't stick to your resort, do every day trip you can and look out for the dunn's river waterfall it's not to be missed, but not for the fainthearted!

Comments:
We were looking for somewhere to rest after suffering 2 bereavements and we were introduced to Rooms on the Beach Ochio Rios by a friend. We spent 2 restful nights there and the fact that it definitely "on the beach" was great. We sat on chairs just watching the cruise ships docking, people cleaning the beach and general passers by. It was just so peaceful and we were able to come away feeling rejuvenated. Jamaica is just a lovely, beautiful place on God's earth. I would recommend this place to anyone. In fact, we are travelling again to Jamaica in May 09.
Useful Tips:
Near to the markets, restuarants, bars - everything is within 500 yards or so. The cruise ships are massive!
