This exclusive resort was completely refurbished in 2006 providing facilities and rooms of the highest quality. The hotel, which is only for the over 18s, is an ideal place for couples to relax or enjoy their honeymoon or wedding. Its location - literally next to the 18-hole Playa Dorada golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones – makes it a favourite among golfers. The hotel has also its own golf shop.

The hotel’s rooms are equipped to the highest standard and they all include telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-bar (welkome pack), iron and ironing board, tea/coffee service, hair dryer, shower, make-up mirror, quality amenities, alarm clock and electronic safe deposit box (with charge). Golf rack by previous request and depending on availability.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (18:30-22:00), all buffet style, served in the Las Garzas restaurant. During meals hot beverages, soft drinks and local alcoholic drinks are offered. A la Carte breakfast can be taken at the El Dorado from 10:30-11:30. Also at the disposal of the AI guests in the A la Carte restaurants, are three themed dinners per week of stay, from 18:30-22:00; El Dorado (grilled meat), El Pescador (fish & seafood - non smoking), Jardin de Jade (Oriental - non smoking) - prior reservation required. Snacks such as hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, French fries, fruit, etc are available 24 hours at the snack bar beach club (except when the El Dorado restaurant is open). Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like mineral water, juices, cocktails, coffee, brandy, rum, vodka, whiskey, gin, etc are served at Merengue swim-up bar (10:00-18:00), Hicotea pool terrace bar (10:00-24:00), Getaway bar (21:00-23:00), Oxygen bar (09:00-20:00) and at the El Dorado beach bar (24 hours).
