Coconut Court Beach Hotel, family owned and operated for over 20 years offers guests a delightful setting and an equally pleasing and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is situated on a lovely sandy beach overlooking the tranquil turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and is centrally located on the lower South Coast of Barbados, a short distance from the capital Bridgetown and from St. Lawrence Gap. There are an excellent choice of bars, restaurants, and night clubs nearby. All of the rooms command spectacular ocean views. Needhams Point is also just a short walk from the Coconut Court Beach Hotel. A beautiful white coral sandy bay, with turquoise sea.

Accommodation

Coconut Court Beach Hotel comprises of 82 rooms of which 60 rooms have been completely refurbished in September 2005. These rooms now include air conditioning, cable television, king size beds or twin beds, a safe, iron and ironing board, extending lighted bathroom mirrors, hairdryers and have private ocean view balconies. All of the rooms (except studios which have kitchens) are equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, toasters, electric kettles, telephones, AM/FM radios and private showers. Accommodating up to two to three persons depending on category. The hotel offers children between 4 and 16 years old a free stay when sharing the room with 2 adults.

Food & Beverage

Right on the beach is the Deck restaurant and bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Happy hours at the main bar, twice a day, except on Tuesdays. The hotel has a childrens policy of special foods available upon request. Coconut Court Beach Hotel offers children between 4 and 16 years old a 50% discount on meal plans when sharing the room with 2 adults.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:00-15:00) and dinner (18:30-21:30, last order at 21:00) in the Deck restaurant. Breakfast is served in a cold buffet (hot items can be ordered from the A la Carte menu), lunch is A la Carte and dinner is A la Carte as well as buffet style twice a week (one Caribbean buffet and one Chinese). During meals all drinks are offered. Snacks such as hot dogs, hamburgers and clubhouse sandwiched are available between 15:00 & 17:00 at the Deck restaurant. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, vodka, gin, Scotch, brandy, rum, cocktails, long drinks, house wine by the glass (red, white, blush), juices, fruit punch, coke, sprite, ginger ale, soda water, tonic water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are served at the main bar De Rum Shoppe (10:00-23:00) and The Sea Grape beach bar (10:00-18:00).

Sports & Leisure

The hotel offers a swimming pool, childrens wading pool, Jacuzzi, pool tables, childrens activities, activities co-ordinator and concierge at the hotel. Daily free beach towel service and free table tennis. Barbados sports camp will be hosted again by the Barbados Tourism Authority from August 5 to 29. free coaching in soccer, netball and cricket will be offered to children (locals and visitors alike!) aged between 9 and 17 years old. Nearby. golf, tennis, squash, horse racing, cricket, soccer, windsurfing, water sports, surfing, diving and yoga.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include beach volleyball, table tennis, swimming pool as well as entertainment with arts & craft show (during manager’s cocktail party) and live entertainment three times weekly (live band, steel pan, karaoke).

Chargeable Extras

Bottled spring & sparkling water, premium cocktails, bottled wine, champagne, sparkling wine, premium liqueurs, liqueurs, premium juices (tomato, cranberry, clamato), ice cream bars, packed crisps, cigarettes and cigars are available at a charge. In case some meal items, special events or special menus will incur a supplemental charge, this will be clearly indicated.

Facilities & Services

A daily standard maid service, which includes cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms and changing of towels. Bed linen are changed twice a week. Useful Information on Distances

Located 20 minutes drive from the airport, nearest town is Bridgetown located one and a half miles away, Bridgetown is two miles from St. Lawrence Gap. Needhams Point is a ten minutes drive, 2 minutes away from the local hospital. Nearby, there are several old mansions, heritage buildings and the Barbados Museum which are worth a visit. The National Trust has two special attractions....all year they feature two conducted hikes every Sunday, each with three different levels. During December to April they have open houses at some of the magnificent homes of the rich and famous on the island. The Botanical Gardens, underground caverns at Harrisons Caves and the Flower Forest are all worth a visit.
