Accommodation

The hotel has 405 rooms, each with a terrace or balcony offering spectacular views of the sea and Mount Teide, a fully equipped bathroom, air conditioning, safety deposit box (payable locally), hair dryer, mini bar, satellite LCD TV, and telephone.

Food & Beverage

The Barcelo Santiago offers a wide range of dining options. All meals are served in the main buffet restaurant with its wonderful views to the ocean and neighbouring islands, serving international cuisine with show cooking. The hotel also boasts two speciality restaurants including “The Grill” specialising in meats, and “La Tasca” with a wide range of Spanish Tapas (smoking bar). Poolside drinks and snacks are available throughout the day at the pool bar, whilst in the evening guests can choose from the lobby bar or Show Bar with nightly entertainment.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals water, house wine, soft drinks and beer are offered. Snacks such as French fries, hamburgers and sandwiches are available from 10:30-13:00 & 15:00-18:30 at the snack bar. Afternoon tea & coffee time with cakes is from 15:00-18:00 at the pool bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee and water are served at the main bar from 10:00-23:00.

Sports & Leisure

The surrounding area of the hotel is excellent for surfing, fishing and scuba diving. Within the hotel itself there are three outdoor freshwater swimming pools (2 heated in winter), and a children’s splash pool. In addition to the new Spa Center guests can enjoy tennis courts (payable locally), Gym (free), pool tables (payable locally), and a wide range of activities including aerobics, table tennis, shuffle board, French bowls, water aerobics, dance classes, and rifle shooting. There is also a mini club (ages 4 – 12) to help keep the little ones occupied.

Spa Center

The hotel offers its guests a new SPA center with professional service and the latest technology to assist in the ultimate in relaxation. Enjoy the thermal circuit (payable locally) with its Turkish bath, sauna, sensitive spaces, thermal pools and Jacuzzi, or indulge in one of the signature treatments (payable locally) like chocotheraphy massage!
