If you're going on holidays to Tenerife, there's arguably nowhere better to go than the stunning resort of Playa De Las Americas, the hub of the island's infamous nightlife. This resort in particular is one of the world's most famous nightclub bases, perfect for those who want to let their hair down and enjoy themselves until sunrise!

There's more to Playa De Las Americas holidays than meets the eye - this is also the centre of many of the paradisiacal island's great water parks, culture, zoos and reserves, as well as being second only to the capital, Santa Cruz, for entertainments. A four hour flight and short drive will take you here, and you can grab a great deal courtesy of On The Beach!

Weather

There's little rain here except for the odd shower in winter, and it's permanently humid: 17° Celsius on average at New Year compared with temperatures in the late 20s° Celsius by the summer apex. The water temperature is also constantly warm, and fresh Atlantic breezes stave off any oppressive heat.

Attractions

Visit the numerous aqua parks, always a favourite with the kids, Crazy Golf at Santiago, the Zoo at nearby Los Cristianos, boat trips and cruises around the coast, and even helicopter rides over the island across the mountains of Los Gigantes and Teide, Spain's highest peak. That's if you can tear yourself away from the resort's numerous beaches, both natural and man-made.
