Comments:
Excellent hotel, despite being on a hill, the views from most levels more than compensated for this. 2 lovely swimming pools, the smaller one was warmer and popular with small children. Waterfall starting from level 5, down to the lower swimming pool with lots of little bridges to cross. It was really pretty. Food was excellent.Good variety considering all inclusive. Catered for coeliacs(gluten/wheat free)and cooked gluten free pastas/pizzas on request, even had gluten free croissants at breakfast!!! Would definitely go back again. Only criticism was entertainment not too good, but otherwise one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
Useful Tips:
Not for those with difficulties walking.

Comments:
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights,it is right on the edge of the resort of Adeje but it is a pleasant downhill walk to the seafront which is well worth it once you get there. However the hotel itself is so lovely that you may not feel the need to leave it at all. The grounds have lots of steps but also lifts to every level and are really well maintained with lovely garden areas. The hotel is all inclusive which we had never tried before and had reservations about but we were really impressed with the standard of food and drinks available, especially the lovely pool snack bar for lunch! The hotel is part of the Melia chain which we have stayed in before so we did have quite high expectations but were impressed with every aspect of the stay and it was good value for money. We have stayed in a couple of the resort's five star hotels and there really was not much difference (this is 4*) apart from possibly the standard of the bedroom being slightly more basic. Highly recommended !
Useful Tips:
Be prepared for a long walk to the centre of the resort which could be a problem if you have young children although there is a free bus to the beach and back which in April ran 3 times each way every day.
