The Melia Jardines del Teide is built on the slope of a hill, overlooking the Playa del Duque beach and offering a wonderful view over Costa Adeje (free bus service to beach). Playa del Duque is just 800 meters away, Playa de Las Americas beach about 4 km. The shopping district is nearby and the city centre of Southern Tenerife is 5 km away.

Accommodation

Distributed in two buildings separated by a little square, the hotel provides 300 rooms, consisting of 258 double rooms and 42 Junior Suites (with separate bedroom). All of the rooms have a full bathroom with hair-dryer, air-conditioning, balcony or terrace, satellite TV, mini bar and with a supplementary charge: safe and direct dial telephone.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (18:30-22:00), all in a rich hot & cold buffet, served in the main restaurant. During meals water, juices, house wine, beer, soft & hot drinks are offered. Snacks such as salads, cheese, olives, meat & fish cooked on the grill, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizzas, chicken, French fries, condiments, fruit & ice cream are available between 11:30 & 17:00 at the La Palapa snack bar, in the principal pool. A variety of locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, sangria, cocktails, soft drinks, tea, coffee and water is served at selected bars from 10:30-01:00. Disco offers selected drinks free of charge from 20:00-24:00.

Sport facilities at the hotel include various entertainment programmes available during the day & night, occasionally specific activities for children, squash, gym (open from 09:00-18:00) and sun beds at the pool area. There is also a daily free courtesy bus to El Duque Beach.
