In Matagorda Beach, which is one of the beaches twisting the coast of the tourist area of Puerto del Carmen, is situated the bungalow complex Las Gaviotas in the very first line of the beach, which is 850 metres long and is covered with fine sand in a very quiet sea which makes of it one of the most attractive and ideal place for swimmers. The Las Gaviotas Bungalow complex is situated in front of the maritime walking path and only few minutes from the centre of Puerto Del Carmen and close to the shopping centre Matagorda, which offers supermarkets, shops, restaurants with different types of international cooking, as well as other complementary services.

Accommodation

Las Gaviotas Bungalows dispose of 155 completely furnished bungalows and have a housekeeping service. Bungalows have one or two bedrooms and have one sitting-room with a sofa-bed, kitchen equipped vitroceramic, microwaves, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, fridge and cutlery, a full bathroom with hairdryer, sunny place and individual terrace with its corresponding furniture, TV via satellite (through payment), telephone and in-room safe (through payment).

Food & Beverage

There is a restaurant offering buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, a snack bar and a pool bar.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:30), all buffet style, served at the restaurant (in block III). Snacks such as vegetarian & mixed sandwiches, cereals with dried fruit, fried eggs with potatoes and ice cream are available between 11:00 & 22:30 at the bar restaurant (block III) and the pool bar (block II). Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic are also served at the bar restaurant (08:00-22:30, block III) and the pool bar (11:00-18:00, block II).

Sports & Leisure

Seven fresh water (chlorinated) swimming-pools, three of which provide room enough for children and 4 heated during the winter season (November – April) and where clients have to their disposal solarium, lying chairs with their corresponding mattresses, umbrellas around the swimming-pool. In the 24h reception there is also Internet service available. Near to the complex you can practice deep-see sport fishing, diving, jet boat, quad… There are two 18 holes golf courses 6 km. and 15 km. away (designed by John Harris)
