Barcelo Lanzarote Resort, formerly known as Hotel Barcelo Suites, is located in a quiet northern part of Lanzarote, just 15 minutes from the islands airport and 500 meters from Anda beach in Costa Teguise. The hotel offers all the services that a guest would need to enjoy a pleasant holiday. Superb facilities, diverse cuisine and an excellent entertainment programme, as well as the beauty of the region, make this a highly recommended hotel for families. Accommodation

The hotel has 244 junior suites, ideal for families and 198 double rooms. Each room has a terrace, fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone and a small refrigerator. Safety deposit boxes are also available for hire.

The AI programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant Las Palmeras. A variety of snacks is available from 11:00-13:00 & 15:00-17:00 at the Coco Grill, while the main restaurant is closed. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee and water as well as some international ones are served from 10:00-23:00 at Timanfaya bar, Atlántida bar and Coco bar (according to each outlets opening hours).

The hotel boasts five fresh water swimming pools (two for children), spacious gardens, Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, twomulti sport courts (w/ tennis, basketball & football) as well as 1 beach volley court & archery, mini-club (2-12yrs), gym, childrens playground, mini golf, shop and a hairdressers.

Sport facilities at the hotel include tennis, basketball, football, petanque, beach volleyball, archery, ping-pong and mini-golf, a variety of entertainment programmes with daily sport activities and games as well as night shows with live music, magic shows and dance shows. Entertainment for children is available at the mini disco and in the mini club (for kids between 4-12 years). There is free transfer to the beach.

Chargeable Extras

The 18-hole Costa Teguise golf course, scuba diving centre, water sports (windsurfing), massage service, currency exchange, car hire, laundry service, a small shopping centre in the area as well as many places to enjoy dinner or entertainment in nice restaurants, bars and pubs are available at a charge.
