Never been to Gran Canaria before. It was our first holiday in 13 years and it was well worth the wait. We had a hire car and visited all areas of Island. The scenery is spectacular, the weather was fantastic. The island was busy but comfortably so. The locals were very accommodating. We will definately return and soon. We were based in Sonnenland at the Vista Dorada, excellent location for the maspalomas beach and for access to the main routes.
Useful Tips:
Travelling up into the mountains to see parts of the Island tourist would not usually bother with.
