The pool was fantastic, really big and quiet and it was the pictures of the pool that appealed to us in the first place. We soon discovered why there were no pictures of the rooms advertised though! They were VERY basic, with old decor, a hideously small bathroom and the most uncomfortable beds I have ever had to sleep in. To top this off we found the staff rude and unhelpful and were made to feel quite unwelcome. We will not be making a return visit!
Useful Tips:
Close to the hotel is a main bar area that is FULL of touts attempting to get you into drink or eat in their bar. A combination of these and people trying to sell us cheap sunglasses, 'real' diamond watches and drugs grew very annoying. We didn't really feel able to relax as we were constantly on guard for the next person to intrude on our holiday. The apartment itself was dark and dingy. They were clean enough and the balcony was nice but disappointing to say the least.
