IFA Dunamar Hotel offers a wonderful panoramic view over the sea and the dunes from its elevated position. Just in front of the beach of Playa del Inglés, facing the natural park Dunes of Maspalomas and surrounded by sub-tropical vegetation it is relaxing to listen to the tinkling of the water of a stream which flows over the terraces and descends in a series of waterfalls. It is ideal for couples, golf players, customers looking for being at the beach during the day and having a great night life.

Accommodation

There are rooms in the main building and the north wing. Most of the rooms have balcony with mountain, sea, garden or sea view and all are bright and elegantly furnished, carpeted, with a sitting area, equipped with bathroom with bath tub, toilet, hairdryer, baby cots, air conditioning, mini bar (at a charge), direct dial telephone, internet access, as well as satellite TV. A room safe is available for use at extra charge. Cleaning and towel change takes place every day, while linen change twice a week. There is a special floor for non-smokers.

Food & Beverage

The restaurant Tabefe serves buffet breakfast and dinner. In the evening there are cold and hot starters and a dessert buffet. The guests may also use the two other restaurants/bars of the property, situated next to the pool, offering Ala Carte but also buffet dishes, the Titana and the Mercedes. There are also menus for vegetarians and high chairs for the kids. Appropriate clothing is worn for dinner, while smoking is not permitted. There are also four bars open all day, offering food at certain times. On the seventh floor customers can visit the “Ocean View” panoramic piano bar and Bar Atlantic on the sixth floor. The two pool bars offer fresh fruits, coffee, homemade cakes, lunch time snacks, soups, sandwiches, spaghetti, pizza, fish, meat and a salad-buffet.

Sports & Leisure

Waterfalls join three sweet water pools, two of them with beautiful waterfalls. Sun beds, towels and parasols can be reserved for guest’s whole stay (towels change at a charge for charity to help Africa). In an area of more than 600 square meters guests will find a sauna, Turkish bath, quiet room, nudist terrace, Jacuzzi and a fitness centre. Furthermore there is a wellness centre & beauty, spa centre, conference room, laundry, billiard, table tennis, darts, motorbike & bicycle hire. There are four additional rooms available for treatment, doctor’s consultations cosmetic treatment and massage. Payment for any special treatment has to be made at the hotel. Apart from beauty treatments anti-stress programmes are also available. Ayurveda massage and bio-energetic massages as well as the classical whole body and foot reflex massages are also offered. Also available: table tennis, darts & basketball (free of charge) and billiard with extra charge. Close to the hotel are also available at an additional charge: tennis court, paddel, squash, mini golf & putting green, bowling, volleyball, water polo, gymnastics, aerobic, petanca, archery, air rifle shooting, an 18-hole golf course, horseback riding, surfing, sailing, water ski, scuba diving, pedal boats and hang gliding. There is also night time animation offered to guests including professional shows.
