IFA Catarina Hotel is located in a quiet situation, at the beginning of Tirajana Avenue, in the centre of the tourist resort Playa del Ingles, close to the very well known Maspalomas dunes, about 900 meters away from the beach and 300 meters to the shopping centre CITA. Free shuttle bus service to the beach for hotel guests several times a day.

Accommodation

The hotel has five floors and large double rooms divided into a sitting and a sleeping areas with twin beds, air conditioning in summer season, telephone, safe deposit box (at a charge), electronic security door lock with a magnetic key-card, full furnished bathroom, hair dryer, satellite TV and a large balcony. All rooms have the possibility to allocate a third adult or two small children in extra-bed (depending on availability).

Food & Beverage

Breakfast and dinner are served, both in buffet style at restaurant Fata Morgana. The A la Carte restaurant El Rancho is only opened at lunchtime (kitchen 12h-17h). Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers at diner time. The property has a total of four bars, each with their own environment, ideal to perfectly satisfy ones leisure and pleasure needs.

Sports & Leisure

Classic hotel in Playa del Ingles, recently renewed, with two freshwater swimming pools, one of them heated in winter, with jacuzzi on each one and a cascade. The pool area is surrounded by a subtropical garden and terraces with umbrellas and sun beds for guests. The hotel entertainment team organize daily a variety of games and sport contests and it has two tennis courts (extra charge) with a school attended by a professional teacher, table tennis, shuffle board, gymnastics and aqua aerobics. Children playground and playroom with special children programme. The evening entertainment completes the program with varied professional spectacles and other shows organized by the entertainment team of the hotel with open-air performances at the Madison Bar in winter and at the pool area (weather permitting). Furthermore there are special facilities for children.
