The Barcelo Margaritas is one of the flagship hotels of Barcelo Hotels & Resorts in the Canary Islands. It is situated in the Playa del Ingles, the island of Gran Canarias main tourist centre. Accommodation

The hotel has 490 rooms, each with a balcony, air conditioning, fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV, mini-bar (upon request at an extra charge), telephone, and a safety deposit box (Local Charge).

Food & Beverage

Enjoy the finest speciality cuisine in the area, with a buffet restaurant and 2 grills located on its magnificent terrace. In the hotel guests will have the variety of 4 bars.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Theme dinner takes place twice weekly. During meals house wine, local beer and soft drinks are offered. Snacks such as sandwiches, hamburgers, French fries, hot dogs, etc are available between noon & 18:00 (except when lunch is served) in the main restaurant, as well as tea & coffee time with cakes & dessert ice cream from 15:00-18:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like aperitifs, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, brandy, cognac, whiskey, liqueurs, special drinks, sherry and hot drinks (coffee, chocolate, cocoa, etc) are served from 10:00-23:00 at selected bars.

Sport & Leisure

Very nice pool area with two adult swimming pools as well as two children’s pools. Sun-beds and umbrellas around the area. Disco, hairdresser, sauna (with extra charge), several shops table tennis, Mini Club, and an entertainment - leisure area with games. Sports facilities include a gym, five-a-side football, tennis (extra charge), volleyball, French bowls, mini golf and shooting range to name but a few. Facilities are available in the area to practice water sports.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include organised daytime & evening entertainment programme for adults & children (including competitions, professional shows, bingo, dancing games and prizes), tennis (upon reservation), water polo, aqua gym, bowls, table tennis, rifle-shooting (16 yrs and over), mini golf, shuffleboard, football, fitness area, two swimming pools for adults and two for children and separate nudist roof-top terrace. There is also free shuttle to/from Playa del Ingles or Maspalomas several times daily and lunch box for excursionists (upon request).

Chargeable Extras

Room service, in-room mini bars (on request), floodlit tennis, sauna as well as board & room day use (max up to 23:00 - upon request) are available at a charge.
