- The hotel is 15 mins. to the bar and food. Also 1 hour walk to the beach.You have to pay extra to get youre rooms cleaned, the only hotel ive ever stayed in with this.
- Useful Tips:
- A lot of walking to see any life.

- Only 4 or 5 foreign visitors to the appartments the rest were occupied by Canarians."No Visitors" displayed in reception but from 4pm Fridays till 6pm Sundays the place heaved with them,we counted 11 people in a three bed appartment,you try getting a sunbed when they put there towels out at 11.15pm. The bar and restaurant were only open from 1.30pm till 9.30pm on five days per week.We were half board and had to go to another complex on wednesday and thursday for our meals, not complaining about that because the food was far better. Accomodation was basic and reasonably clean apart from the tear in the sheet and the stained dirty shower curtain.You have to hire a fan or air conditioning(96 euros for 14 days)or dye of the heat.The TV is coin operated and eats euros.DONT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF, Gran Canaria itself is beautiful, just choose another location in Maspalomas to stay rather than at Tisalaya Park.
- Useful Tips:
- If you shop, use larger supermarket in Faro2 centre or near Maspalomas beach, both cheaper than small local shops. Dont get caught out by "scratch card boys", Visit Yumbo centre in the evening for some great entertainment. An Island tour is a must, Palmitos Park is a great day out for old and young alike but very steep so not exactly suitable for disabled or people with walking difficulties.Do a camel ride across Maspalomas dunes and visit one of the many markets on the Island. For the golfers,take your clubs, some great courses on the island and the course at Maspalomas does a twilight game after 4.30pm, 18 holes including buggy for about £37. Make sure you have a good sun cream as well, you dont realise the intensity of the sun because you usualy have a breeze. Relativly good bes service but Taxi's are very cheap and well worth using. For those that are inclined,there is a nudist beach at Maspalomas near the dunes. Another great beach in Playa Del Ingles.

- overall apartments were ok clean enough,staff were friendly,pool area was cleaned everyday we were there,the only problem was with the sudden influx of spanish on a weekend,but if you have no problem with them it is a nice apartment block for the money,cant moan really,would stay here again no problem.
