A smooth 40 minute drive south from the airport brings one to the green oasis of Costa Calma. Here one will find the modern and beautiful resort of Drago Park. It is only 1500 metres away from the Sotavento beach, a paradise of golden sands, clear turquoise water, and friendly beach cafes. The charming fishing village of La Lajita is only 5 km away. Among the most interesting places to visit near-by are the natural park of Ajuy (13 km), the historical village of Betancuria (28 km), the lookout at Morro Velosa (32 km) and the village of La Alcogida (35 km) with its traditional architecture.

Accommodation

This hotel features 219 air-conditioned guestrooms in four separate two and four-storey buildings. All are furnished in blue and yellow décor with light blue furniture and have balconies or terraces with pool views. Amenities include cable television, direct-dial phones, safes and ensuite bathrooms. Guestrooms also feature sofa beds, which can sleep one extra person. The rooms are fully equipped with cable/satellite TV, balcony, direct-dial phone, in-room safe, electronic/magnetic keys, air conditioning,housekeeping.

Food & Beverage

In the spacious and comfortable buffet-like restaurant breakfast and dinner is served. Here guests can choose from a large variety of menus. Regularly culinary nights dedicated to a special country or part of the world are also organized.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (18:00-20:30), all in buffet style. Breakfast & dinner are served in the main restaurant; lunch at the pool restaurant/bar. During meals refreshments, beer and local alcoholic beverages are offered. Snacks such as hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches (ham, cheese, salami, etc), crudités to combine salads (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, etc), Spanish omelette, French fries, chicken nuggets, etc are available at the pool bar/restaurant between 11:00 & 12:30 as well as tea time from 15:30-16:30. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like refreshments and beer are served from 10:30-23:00 at the salon bar, the disco, the main restaurant and the pool restaurant/bar - according to each outlets opening hours.

Sports & Leisure

Guests can enjoy various sports organized by the activity team. In addition there is a fitness room at guests disposal with ping-pong, billiards, darts and sjoelbak. At the local beach, Sotavento, windsurfing, surfing, kite boarding and diving is offered (more information at the reception).

Sport facilities at the hotel include squash, gym, heated swimming pool for adults & one for children, sun terrace with deck chairs & parasols and mini-club for children aged 4-16yrs. Shuttle bus to the beach is also available.

Useful Information on Distances

Drago Park has excellent connections with the airport (FUE) 65 km, as well as with the town and harbour of Morro Jable (24 km). The Las Palmas and Tenerife ferry and jetfoil leave from this port.
