Hotel was ok, clean, friendly but not many English, mainly Sweedish and German. Very shaded with all the trees so this was great for night time able to sleep in a cool room. Central of the Island so only 20 minutes to Ciutedella or 20 minutes to Mahon, only a few yards from the beach, great for families with small children. Not much night life but The Half Moon Pub, with Drew the owner made the holiday, great music, English pub so all the locals went there really friendly and the cheapiest drinks in the resort. Carole x
Useful Tips:
Dont change your English money there the rate is very poor. Use the Bank in Fornells they only charge 2% for any transaction. Also buy cigs and tobacco in resort for Mahon airport is at least 10 Euro's more per 200 or 10 x 50g. e.g tobacco in resort 35 Euro for 10 x 50g in airport 45 Euro.
