- Apartment was basic with two electric hob rings and a microwave, very clean (apart from drain smell in the toilet) and great views of the coves. a short walk to cala n forcat beach/cove which is a great place for all ages. Close to shops and restaraunts with a wide variety of tasty food. Hotel has 24hr reception, supermarket, internet, 2 pools, bar and games room. To be honest the location was that good we were hardly ever at the hotel, but the few nights we walked past the evening entertainment it looked very tongue in cheek comedy, but not really for us. But don't let that put you off, it was just perfect if you want to chill out at the coves and enjoy snorkelling in the Menorcan sea.(Including an octapus!!)
- Useful Tips:
- Shop around for best prices at supermarkets, we found to get different bits from different places was the best way. Theres a orange colour circular building on the main street that has Tesco at the bottom (cheap for water and snacks) which has a bar at the top, recommend going for a cocktail just as the sun sets, its spectacular. The number 61 bus is very regular and costs 1.75Euro pp to Cuitedella and is a great shopping place but most shops close at 2pm till 5pm for siesta, Friday is market day for cheap leather and other bits. We got a wallet for 6Euro that was 15e in every other shop that stocked it!! If you like snorkelling get some good gear, this place is amazing you'll be gone for hours at a time. Enjoy yourself:)
