Menorca is the second largest and most easterly of the Balearic islands. Menorca has a length of approximately 50 km and a width of a maximum of only 17 km. Cala n Porter is a small resort in the southern part of the island, 12 km west of Mahón. The Cala n Porter Villas could not be better suited for families. With a great selection of bars and restaurants close by, these bright apartments have everything you need for a great self catering holiday. Kids love the nearby sandy cove and the whole family will enjoy the superb entertainment on the complex.

Accommodation

Its 36 comfortable apartments are equipped with bath, shower, WC, ceiling fan, kitchen, fridge, sat-TV, and have terrace or balcony. Also it should be noted that clients will be allocated in a villa within the Calan Porter resort area.

Facilities & Services

Cala n’ Porter Villas have within the premises a furnished terrace with barbecue area and private pool. The supermarkets are well stocked and make self-catering easy. The local restaurants are varied and offer everything from cheap local dishes to fairly expensive gourmet meals. Most supermarkets will accept traveller’s cheques and there are also a couple of change bureaux so there is no need to make a trip to a bank in one of the major towns. Most restaurants and supermarkets accept major credit cards. A hire car, whilst not absolutely necessary, is recommended for at least part of the holiday. For peak week holiday pre-booking of cars to hire is recommended. Cycles and motor cycles are also available for hire. In the area there is a necropolis of the Iron Age with approx 40 caves carved in the rocks.

The airport of Mahón (MAH) is 6 km away and the town of Ciutadella 40 km.
