- Santa Ponsa really needs a bit of an upgrade as it is beginning to look a little tired. Most of the nightlife is located along a single street and it's all much of a muchness really. Not a huge amount to do around the place, and you get the impression it's a bit of a poor relation to nearby Magaluff. Indeed, one Friday night we walked along around 1130 pm and all bar that one street was more or less closed! It's attractive, the beachfront with it's wild parrots is interesting, and clean, though the storm drain which cuts through the area (a bridge takes you over it) really can stink at night the further inland you go.
- Useful Tips:
- Check out the north of the island, Mallorca is so much more than just sun, sea and sand. Get away from the hustle and bustle and you'll find a world so far removed from the norm you'd think it was another planet. If you are going to stay around Santa Ponsa, early evening is quietest before the clubs open. Mrs Murphy's Kitchen was always busy but it was because of the quality of the food, highly recommended by all. There's a sizeable Irish area full of Irish pubs, but all welcoming. Unlike in Palma, you're not constantly hassled by sellers or shop owners, it's a pleasant change to be able to shop without the pressure.

- This destination is small but has everything in it for all ages, the whole atmosphere was just fantastic and friendly, theres plenty to do morning noon and night. The food is good beach is brill with loads of stuff to do activtive or not. This resort is for all kind of holidaymakers looking sun sea and fun, also there's plenty of boat and bus trips to take you to other places and also weather is excellent in summer time ts peak season loads of bars and games. Love it. Seana
- Useful Tips:
- They should look out for all the bars and resturants which they will not miss theres plenty of all kinds, the beach and sports local mini gold and the spanish square at nights all kinds of fun shows not to be missed.

- this is a very nice place but it is no good for people with walking disabilies as it is very hilly
- Useful Tips:
- People booking this holiday should make sure that they book a hotel which is near to all amenities. The hotel Santa Ponsa is no good for any one with disabilitesas it its to hilly and there are a lot of steps to climb. The place itself would probably be very nice if the sun shines, but when we visited it it rained all 5 days we were there. Not much to do other than sit in pubs. Sundays the shops shut so the town is dead

- the aparments we stayed at were really clean and all the staff were very friendly and loved families. the entetainment was good for the time of year,quizzes and disco every night and night for the kids when animals were brought in for the children to see and touch. Animals that they wouldnt get near back in the , unless they were taken to a zoo. The children ages 8,6,4,and 3 all loved the swimming pool and was amazed with the sea being so close. The restaurants and bars all welcomed families and the variety of food available was great. A brilliant choice of holiday for young and old.
- Useful Tips:
- You must climb the steps - all 455 of them, my husband and grandchildren did and said the view was amazing. These can be found along the shopping esplanade just up from the beach. The beach is very clean and well looked after. A lifeguard is on site at all times through the day and they are always willing to answer any questions.

- Love this resort so much, it is just perfect for family holidays as there is so much to see and do. Must visit the Square for entertainment at night, lovely beaches and great boat trips. Loads of restaurants to choose from. So good we are going back this summer!!!

- There is plenty to do either relax on the sandy beach, or up the hill to see a bit of exciting nightlife. Local bus goes directly into Palma see the most beautiful catherdral most gothic. Beautiful hotels. I have been twice and would recomend this to single or familys.
